Evansville, IN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team saw its Wednesday contest at Evansville cancelled due to rain.
The game will not be rescheduled.
It is the first time since 1984 that the two teams will have not met during the regular season, breaking a 32-season run.
The Governors now look forward to this weekend’s Ohio Valley Conference series at SIU Edwardsville. The three-game series, which begins with a 6:00pm, Friday contest, is Austin Peay’s final regular-season OVC series.
